In today's rapidly evolving technological landscape, the integration of advanced analytical methodologies is crucial for optimizing decision-making processes. This talk explores the synergistic potential of combining Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) techniques, such as Neural Networks, Decision Trees, Classification, and C&R (Classification and Regression). DEA, a non-parametric method used to evaluate the efficiency of decision-making units, benefits significantly from the predictive power and pattern recognition capabilities of AI and ML.
We will demonstrate the practical applications and benefits of integrating DEA with AI and ML. Attendees will gain insights into innovative approaches for improving efficiency analysis, ultimately leading to more informed and effective decision-making in various industries.

Ali Emrouznejad教授是英國薩里大學商業分析主席、商務分析實踐中心主任。研究領域是人工智能與大數據、效率與生產力分析。在領域頂級和重要學術期刊上發表超過250篇論文，被斯坦福大學評為全球TOP 2%最有影響力科學家，其科研h指數超過60，榮獲“World Top 100 Business & Management / Business Administration Scientists 2024”。他同時是Socio-Economic Planning Sciences，Journal of Operational Research Society，Annals of Operations Research等經管類高水平學術期刊的副主編和編委。
