The importance of university technology transfer has been highlighted by governments and industries worldwide. However, the relationship between university-industry (UI) collaboration and technology transfer remains under-documented in the existing literature. This study aims to fill the gap and examine the relationship between UI collaboration and technology transfer in Chinese universities using panel data of 132 universities over the period from 2006 to 2016. The moderating role of entrepreneurship in this relationship is also examined. The findings reveal that UI collaboration promotes university technology transfer significantly. Furthermore, it is shown that entrepreneurship at the regional and university level moderates the promotion effect of UI collaboration on university technology transfer in different ways.
報告人簡介：
吳延瑞，西澳大學商學院終身教授，博士生導師，曾任澳大利亞中國經濟研究會會長，北京大學中國經濟研究中心訪問研究員，新加坡國立大學東亞研究所高級訪問研究員，香港浸會大學經濟學系、南開大學經濟學院、悉尼大學(Orange分校)亞洲農業商務研究中心和暨南大學的訪問教授。主要研究領域為發展經濟學、國際貿易、區域經濟學和應用計量經濟學。已成功申請并完成50個科研項目，出版17本書(7本專著)，在SSCI或SCI收錄期刊發表論文100余篇，被引用超過8000次，個人著作涉及中國經濟、亞太經濟、創新和技術進步、經濟增長和生產率增長分析。
